Did you realize after creating a website it can take up to 12 weeks to be crawled by Googlebot spidering or the Yahoo spiders. That's a long time, I don't want to wait that long. Well, don't let your site go to the dogs while waiting to be crawl by search engine spiders . So what do you do to get website traffic?
1) The most obvious I would get a PPC(Pay Per Click service). These are expensive, but if you want or need traffic to your site immediately they do the trick. Its a great alternative to no traffic while waiting for your site to be crawl by the Googlebot spiders.
2) Submit your sites to all the popular search engines. This can take a while and is tedious, but needs to be done. 3) Build your own network and work it!! Join a few social networking sites such as Yuwie, Work it, Mom, MySpace, Facebook, Etc. Build up a network there.
4) Blog for traffic...Write blogs about your business great places to blog on are Blogspot, Digg and Reddit just to name a few. If you go there make sure you read and comment on my blogs.
5) Get your business listed in online directories( Yahoo directory, Yellow pages, Etc...)
